IRBS successfully implements Robotic cell for CNC tending in Texas Arai, improving production of two CNCs with only one robot. For this turnkey solution IRBS developed a double Gripper to improve cycle time and a fixture to pick and place the parts from the opposite side for parts that require more than one operation. IRBS also integrated a artificial vision system for the pick and place without relying on position devices.
